I compare this to my favorite sport, Boxing. Being Mexican American, I'm a huge fan of Mexican style prize fighting! I know that when two undefeated Latino fighters get into the ring, it's fucking ON! The Chosen brings that same level of intensity. So just remember, our heroes will bitch slap yours!

When dealing in Super Hero situations, the possibilities are infinite! As an artist, this is a dream job situation! Turning make-believe into reality is the ultimate prize for a creative mind. Powers:  Santo possesses psychic powers from the spiritual and magical worlds.

A super-illusionist and magician, he can materialize into any form, human or creature, alter density and turn invisible.

J.J. was born on the Florida beach, as his family fled from the infamous island and it’s dictator. Born of a white father and black mother, J.J. inherited both the Latino and African cultures. Since their arrival, the Montoya family has comfortably assimilated into their new-found lifestyle. The handsome and charming lad attends the University of Miami and is living the American dream.

Brandon Martinez Acquires Latino Super Hero Comic Book Series | In Development For Animated Series And Movie Franchise

B. The Product founder Brandon Martinez, acquires the first Latino Super Hero comic book series, The Chosen, now in development for children's animated series, movie franchise and video game. 

The Chosen was developed by Brandon's father, Jose Martinez, a successful Graphic Designer now struggling with Parkinson's Disease. 

"I took on The Chosen because I wanted to make sure that my father gets to see his creation become a reality and give the highly growing Hispanic Demographic what they deserve! It's a dream come true project," says Martinez who has made a name for himself in the Haircare and Beauty business with his successful haircare company, B. The Product.

"With the popularity of comic books that turn into movie projects, the Hispanic market deserves their own set of heroes to face problems and issues in every day Latino life."

Hidden Treasures

Everyday I wake up, I am thanking my lucky stars for this amazing project my father turned over to me! I am finding these priceless gems inside this endless amount of sketches, ideas, and first drafts known as The Chosen Archives, that my father created almost twenty years ago. My father was always ahead of his time. Creating the first, all Latino Super Hero comic book series, back then is part of the genius that my dad possesses. Watching him work all these years has been an inspiration and an education for my own work. Finally, I get to collaborate with someone I love. I am so blessed and appreciative to be able to bring The Chosen to the rest of the world.
